Dr. Glenn Morris
Dr. Glenn T. "Bo" Morris received his B.A. Degree is Pre-Medical Studies (Psychology, Religion) from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson, Tennessee. He received his B.S. Degree in Allied Health and Certificate of Physicians Associate from Trevecca College in Nashville, Tennessee. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
He completed an internal medicine residency and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Louisville Department of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
His early work experience includes a student trainee in South America, an autopsy assistant in Tennessee, and a pharmaceutical representative in Pike County, Kentucky; among other things. He is a member of numerous professional societies and his research has been published in various publications.
His cardiology clinic brought him to the community of Estill County in 1993. For nearly a decade at Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital, he touched so many lives within the region. His impact will never be forgotten. Even most recently during a Marcum & Wallace employee training, Dr. Morris came up in the discussion of how to treat your patients. An employee said, “Dr. Morris always took the time to show his patients that he cared. He would pat their hand and ask about their family. He didn’t have to do that…he wanted to.”
Dr. Morris was born in Heidelberg, Germany (his father was in the U.S. ARMY). He has been married to Judy since 1976 and they have two daughters, Megan(Joey) and Greta (Danny) and one granddaughter, Sophie. He enjoys the University of Tennessee, golf and photography; especially for the University of Kentucky football and basketball teams.
