Founded in late 2014, the Estill Action Group, or "Actioneers," have a simple mission: "Take pride in Estill County— to encourage one another and to share ideas.
To empower each other to use our voices, talents, and any resource we possess to better and beautify our community.
To keep an open mind and enlighten others through ideas & change.
To work together and achieve a common goal—to simply “do something.”
To leave behind our community a better way."
The Actioneers focus on doing good in the community in many different ways. Their largest project is the pursuit of Twin City Trail Town certification. They also have a great time with their monthly Actioneer Adventures, during which they trek around to different parts of our community to hike or paddle in places that many folks never have the chance to explore.
