Online Marketplace Request for Proposals

Estill Development Alliance is seeking a proposal to development a website as outlined below. Please submit your proposal to Executive Director Joe Crawford prior to 10:00AM on Friday, September 4th, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud at our offices at 177 Broadway, Irvine, KY 40336. As our offices are not open regularly due to the pandemic, please email Joe@Estill.org to set up a time to drop off your bid. This project is part of the Southeast Kentucky Healthy Downtown Initiative set forth by the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky and a coalition of other funders.

A full proposal will include a full description of your plan of work as well as an itemized budget for associated expenditures.
The proposal will be to create the following:
A user friendly, mobile responsive e-commerce website with the functionality to support multiple vendors on a single shopping cart check-out that also includes a booking engine for service-based businesses and event tickets.
On the back end, the site must be user-friendly to teach the vendors to utilize and with each vendor in control of their own storefront section/inventory and manage their own shipping and/or pick up.
Maintenance: A structure of ongoing Maintenance with updates, backups, and any changes or fixes needed to keep the site functioning and user friendly for one year following launch. This does not include managing the regular inventory management for vendors.
Alternate 1:
In addition to the full proposal, bidders are invited to submit a maintenance plan proposal beyond the aforementioned one year maintenance.
